Classically trained dancer, Christina Ricucci, lives in Los Angeles California. She began dancing at the age of 2, and has since trained extensively in ballet, contemporary and jazz, as well as lyrical, tap, hip hop and musical theater. In addition to her love of ballet, Christina has also been a highly successful competition and convention dancer. She furthered her dance training at intensives with The Juilliard School, Nederlands Dans Theater, Cedar Lake Contemporary Ballet, American Ballet Theater, Hubbard Street, Complexions Contemporary Ballet, Martha Graham, Limon, and Batsheva/Gaga. Christina is an 8-time National Champion soloist, and toured the United States and Canada as a demonstrator, with both the JUMP and NUVO Dance Conventions, after she was awarded the prestigious National Title of “Best Dancer” from the Dance Awards. She appeared on the covers of both Dance Spirit Magazine, as their Cover Model Winner and Inside Dance Magazine.
Christina received her studio training at the National award-winning studios Murrieta Dance Project, Westside Dance Project and Dmitri Kulev Classical Ballet Academy, as well as with private ballet coaching in both the Vagonova and Cecchetti methods. Christina has worked with acclaimed teachers and choreographers such as Peter Chu, Travis Wall, Stacey Tookey, Billy Bell, Nick Lazzarini, Norbert De La Cruz, Teddy Forance, Jason Parsons, Dwight Rhodan, Desmond Richardson and Mia Michaels. She has received scholarships from the Bolshoi Ballet Academy, Nederlands Dans Theater, Pacific Northwest Ballet, Complexions Contemporary Ballet, Jose Carreno Ballet, and The Rock School for Dance Education. Christina was a Youth America Grand Prix Hope Award Recipient, 1st place classical winner, and a Gold Medalist for the USA at the World Ballet Competition. She currently teaches Contemporary Dance at the acclaimed Academy of Ballet Arts in Murrieta, CA, and is an award-winning choreographer.
